We shouldn't all begin to go try to listen to our barnyard animals. We have many teachers today building practices around isolated incidents in scripture. I assure you this is not normal Charismatic behavior or Christian behavior. I do believe in using anointing oil in accordance with James 5 and also rebuking demons just as Jesus did. this is not superstition, it's simply walking out Scripture. I know you've become disillusioned with a lot of Scripture and the claims that Christ made about Himself. perhaps you have been into the Gnostic writings that were made famous by the Davinci Code?
